Diamond came to our home on April 2nd, 2016. She was chosen and offered to us by breeders that have gotten to know us over the years and have become our close friends as well as advisers. Diamond's reason for joining our pack was first and foremost as a family member and she fit RIGHT in with the canines AND human's in our Family.

Due to Diamond's old bloodlines and old style conformation, she is a deliberate preservation of our beloved breed. With her never ending supply of typical young Doberman energy, love, loyalty, protection, and leaping, jumping, happy wagging body, she is a perfect fit for our young son !!

Diamond's conformation coincides with German and AKC Breed Standards published in the 1920-1960's. It was back then that our medium size breed was more closely monitored AND enforced to prevent over sizing and protect functionality, proper gait, and mobility - preserving the purpose behind the development of our elegant and agile Doberman breed.

Diamond's call name was chosen by her partner in crime, our young son. Born into the Doberman world at a time when our breed suffers from so many genetic health issues and premature deaths due to poor breeding choices and uneducated breeders AND buyers, our son choose the name Diamond before he ever met "his girl". Not because diamonds are a girl's best friend, but because he knows that Diamonds are a rare and beautiful gift from God that last forever. With his "Diamond" by his side, his heart has begun to heal and his hope for this breed restored.

Diamond and her boy finished Basic Obedience AND Better than Basic at Top Notch Dog School in the fall/winter of 2016. In January, 2017, this young team earned Diamond's AKC CGC (Canine Good Citizen Certificate) at Suzannes Dog Training. They also took, and passed, the ATTS Temperament Test on July 9th, 2017. These two will continue to train with Suzanne for AKC Obedience AND Rally AND are the first in our family/teams to enter an AKC Event as a "PeeWee". Our young Nick is now an AKC Junior Handler and we could not be prouder of this team!! Firsthand ring experience without the pressure of showing and competing is a real blessing for this young team. Kind, educational, patient, and even FUN AKC Judges, mentors stepping up to guide and teach these two kids, and the overall support and encouragement from the AKC community fort ALL the young children and their dogs is a wonder AND a joy to see!!

07/11/2017 - Diamond has been "retired' from our breeding line up, spayed, and will enjoy the rest of her life as a loyal companion and best friend to "her boy". Although she is a perfect Doberman, inside and out, she did not pass the criteria we set in place for choosing our Breeding Dobermans and she will now reside at Doberman Fields' and enjoy her new 'pet only' status with Nick by her side.
