Sweet, loving Legacy came to our home on February 17th of 2018. Leased from our friend and mentor, Gail Forrest of Trinity Dobermans, Legacy brings the culmination of Gail's forty plus years of Doberman breeding and experience, along with Gail's incredible bloodline LOADED with LC (Longevity) and BL (Bred for Longevity) Certificates to our lines, kennel and our goals... helping us tremendously with our promise to protect and preserve our beloved breed through select breeding practices.
Legacy's temperament, true to her breed, allowed her to blend into our large pack of Dobermans AND humans immediately, day ONE, with grace and acceptance only a true Doberman can obtain. Quickly becoming attached to the males in our home despite her human-female only life with her owner, Legacy has proven herself beyond measure! Quick to love, eager to please, fast to learn, and protective over all in her domain, Legacy is second to none and we are so blessed to add her lines to our own!! Her soulful eyes, happy soul, and strong Doberman spirit will win you over from the instant you meet her, just as happened for us!! We will miss Ms Legs beyond words when our lease period is over and she returns to her home in Virginia with Gail, and her Dobermans - Lestat (Legacy's sire and also the sire of our own Sapphire!!) and Phoenix (also the Dam of our own Sapphire!!) . But, we are honored and humbled to be blessed with this opportunity AND will always be able to visit Legacy and look forward to borrowing her here and there for NY visits, although we will NOT be breeding her again for our Breeding Program.
Legacy has spent over a year in our home, from 02/2018 to present. She has completed (AND PASSED!!) the balance of her Health Tests we require from all our breeding Dobermans, which as always meets and exceeds the AKC and DPCA recommended Health Tests/Screenings needed to breed (see below) - Original OFA Certs are the property of and will be retained by Legacy's Owner, Trinity Dobermans. Legacy was successfully bred early February with our own stud/male, Chaser. Their litter was whelped on 04/05/2019 Congratulations to ALL!
