About Doberman Fields’

Doberman Fields’ started our journey in the world of breeding in 2014. In 2015, we produced three litters of jointly owned dams and the sires of an established Doberman breeder who is also our friend and mentor in the world of Doberman breeding. Sadly, due to conflicting standards and objectives, coupled with financial and contract issues, we mutually decided to part ways with our mentor and begin our independent breeding program.

Our Commitment to Excellence

We are committed to meeting and exceeding the standards set by the DPCA (Doberman Pinscher Club of America) and OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) for responsible breeding. Our focus is not only on breeding Dobermans that meet physical standards but also on ensuring their health, temperament, and overall well-being.

Health Testing and Screening

Titles and Champion bloodlines are worthless if that bloodline is tainted with genetic issues and young deaths. A beautiful, well-stocked, and up-to-standard Doberman with untested and sickly parents is doomed to leave our hearts broken too soon. On the other hand, a pup from fully health-tested parents can be your family’s companion for decades.

Our breeding program places a strong emphasis on health testing and screening for all our breeding Dobermans. You will always find proof of our ongoing health testing, screening, and lab results on our OFA Certificates for each Doberman. Vet records and other information on our breeding canine and feline family members are kept and on file but not published here on our website.

We also hope that by sharing all of our heath test results, whether OFA/DPCA recommended or not, you will learn to look for these tests and results in all Doberman breeders. Our intensive screening, record keeping, and public access to the breeder’s records are vital to the health and well-being of all Dobermans at present and in the future. Doberman Fields’ believes that no matter who your chosen breeder is, an educated and responsible buyer is equally important and necessary to protect, preserve, improve, and promote the TOTAL Doberman Breed we all hold dear.

Total Doberman

We are dedicated to breeding the TOTAL Doberman, as demanded by AKC, UKC, and DPCA Breed Standards. We prioritize health, proper temperament, and adherence to breed standards in all our breeding efforts to ensure the betterment of the Doberman breed for today and tomorrow.

Titles and Training

Before breeding, our Dobermans undergo health testing and earn AKC and UKC titles to confirm their temperament and working ethics. While COVID has stopped most training and events from 2020 to the present, we are committed to continuing this practice once these venues open up and our safety and health are no longer a concern.

We are fully aware of how awesome all our Dobermans are. Going through all the training, attending the various AKC and UKC events, earning points and titles, and adding public records for these accomplishments prove it. We began our first-ever entry into the world of training and competition, focusing on rally, agility, obedience, and therapy.

Placement and Support

We prioritize finding forever homes for our Doberman puppies and require a completed Puppy/Dog Application before consideration for a puppy purchase. We have a commitment to support our puppy buyers and offer a return arrangement for any pups from our litters in our contracts.

All puppies will be sold on a Limited AKC registration and a sole UKC registration UNLESS PRIOR APPROVAL FOR FULL REGISTRATION IS REQUESTED BY THE BUYER *AND* APPROVED BY DF LLC. Our sales contracts will include a spay/neuter obligation on the buyer’s part to be performed between 18 and 24 months of age, excluding Full Registration Sales. All puppy buyers must obtain a CGC (Canine Good Citizen) title by one year old. Buyers with limited access and knowledge of appropriate training facilities will happily assist with their search for a perfect match for them and their new family member.

All puppy buyers will be encouraged to join their local Chapter Club of the DPCA as well as their UKC Chapter Clubs, local AKC All Breed Clubs, and local 4H dog classes for families with children for community support and activities to enhance the quality of life of their Doberman and their efforts and support of our breed overall.
