Meet "Lilly"

*
Born April 22, 2012
*
Lilly was purchased by a breeder in Wurtsboro, NY in August of 2013.  She was bred to their very own Zeus (WS#37860805) in October of 2013 and whelped 13 puppies on 12/28/2013 (we bought our Rose from this litter!)
*
In February of 2014, we purchased Lilly and planned to add her to our pack as a family member AND as our first breeding female for our upcoming proposed addition/invitation to join with an  established breeding kennel!!
*
After being seen by our vet, it was found that Lilly had a low Thyroid T4 level of .05, and was 'removed' from our breeding program.  Due to THESE results, no further DNA or other breeder screening/health tests where preformed.
*
In August of 2014, Lilly was re homed to North Carolina.  She currently enjoys a pack life with her two red dober-sisters and her loving and caring human parents, James and Michelle.  We receive updates and pictures and enjoy being allowed to continue to watch Lilly love her life and all those that enter it

Meet "Pearl"

*
Born December 26, 2009
*
Pearl was purchased by a breeder in Wurtsboro, NY in November of 2011.
*
She was bred by them to their own Max (#WS33412170)
in November of 2011 and whelped 8 puppies on 01/21/2012 (we bought our Roxie from this litter)
AND
in June of 2012 and whelped 1 puppy on 08/25/2012
*
She was bred by them to their own male Zeus (WS37860805)
in January of 2013 and whelped 2 puppies on 03/28/2013 (We bought our Nala from this litter)
AND
in August of 2013 and whelped 1 puppy on 10/25/2013
*
In July of 2014, we were given Pearl to compensate for the purchase and subsequent removal of Lilly from our breeding line up.  Being the mother of two of our own pack as well as having stolen our hearts, we were excited to add her to our pack as a family member AND as our newest  first breeding female for our upcoming proposed addition/invitation to join with an established breeding kennel!!
*
After being seen by our vet in December of 2013, Pearl was found to be healthy and cleared for breeding. With our limited knowledge and exposure to breeder health screening, we performed only the vWD test and found her to be a carrier and incompatible to breed with Max, who had come to stay with us in November 2012. Although Pearl had adjusted well to family life, she never truly settled in to a 'pack' life and had issues and confrontations with our other young females. Because of her past breeding history, incompatibility with Max, and unhappiness at sharing her humans with the pack, we made the hard decision to re home Pearl to a family where she would be the one and only Queen she was meant to be.
*
In April of 2015, Pearl was re homed to Rosendale, NY.  She currently enjoys the single dog life watching over her three human children and her loving human parents, Mario and Grace.  We receive updates and pictures and enjoy being allowed to continue to watch Pearl enjoy her well-deserved retirement in a home fully dedicated to HER.

Meet "Jaeger"aka "Blaze"

*
Born March 12, 2013
*
Jaeger was purchased by a breeder in Wurtsboro NY in 2013.
*
Although Jaeger came into heat cycles during their physical ownership, they were not able to breed her.
*
In August of 2014, we were asked by her owners to bring Jaeger to our home and pack for a temporary reprieve from pack issues she was having in her Wurtsboro home.  We happily complied.
*
Since she was already here and we had plans on becoming partners with this breeder, we performed DNA tests in May of 2015 for vWD, DM & DCM and she was clear of all!
*
In June of 2015, co-ownership was offered to us, and we jumped on the opportunity to keep this awesome girl with us as part of our family AND our potential breeding line up. Payments were made for the co-ownership and we become the proud AKC coowners of our fire cracker wiggle butt Jaeger.
*
Jaeger was vetted in June of 2015.  Her kidney values where high, but no clinical signs where present.  Her appetite, energy level, coat and zest for life was indicative of this being within the breeds known normal high reading without health or life-threatening issues.
*
We discovered that Jaeger came into only partial heats.  She refused male attention and showed zero interest in our plans to be able to hold and love little ones from her.  It wasn't an issue for us, we fell in love with her and her place within our pack was not dependent on her ability to be bred, but rather, as always, her happiness in our family and home.  We discussed with her other owners spaying her, but were not granted permission.
*
In April of 2016, Jaeger once again became the victim of aggression with in her pack, this time by our own Nala.  Nala was suffering from Renal Failure and her illness caused her normal, calm, and loving temperament to turn to anger and aggression towards our poor loving, happy, innocent, and playful Jaeger.
*
For the good of our dog and at the expense of our heartbreak, we decided to find a better home for Jaeger.  Between the fact that we wished her NOT to bred and her other owners did not share our view, and the injuries and stress she lived with because of Nala, we were no longer the perfect home for our awesome firecracker.
*
A fellow Doberman lover/owner volunteered to 'foster' Jaeger for us. After MUCH prayer and the support of many friends, we have come to the resolution that their love for Jaeger matches our own.  Jaeger IS in the best home for her.
*
Her new name is Blaze, and she can be seen on many Facebook group pages as well as in the waters of her Lake loving life and wagging her firecracker butt happily through her days, and THAT is what matters the most to ALL of us.

Meet "Blade"

*
Blade was brought to a breeder in Wurtsboro, NY in October of 2013 for a month long 'boarding'
*
Upon visual inspection of Blade's extremely poor physical health, we were called in for immediate vetting and to be a foster home for this suffering two-year old male
*
Blade was immediately brought to our vet.  He weighed only 68 pounds, had a dual ear infection, a filthy and dull coat, and an unusual aggressive reaction to human touch. Medications where prescribed, and a plan and support system where put in place to help me heal both his physical AND emotional health.
*
As of December, 2013, Blade is now a healthy 88 pound loving and happy Doberman living with his new family on a marina in Florida.  He responded well to our love, attention, and training and has never again suffered at the hands of unfit owners!!

Meet "Leah"

*
In 2013, a friend/breeder called on us to bring their girl Leah to my vet for an unexplained and spreading rash.
*
Leah was diagnosed with Demodectic Mange.  This genetic condition was explained in great detail, her owners advised of the diagnosis, and we became Leah's new foster home until she could be placed in an appropriate forever home. Working under the guidance and medical care of our awesome veterinary team, Leah condition and health was improved and we were able to transfer her to a family member of mine in Oklahoma where she is treated like the Princess she is AND is under constant medical care and assistance.
